Adrienne Ostrowski

FFCP

Trainer

Adrienne began her dog training journey in 2002 with her newly adopted rescue puppy, Rascal. Knowing Rascal would grow into a large dog, she committed to training early on to build the skills and confidence needed to handle her. What started as puppy training quickly became a lifelong pursuit—they never stopped learning together. Along the way, they formed an incredible bond that made every moment of the journey worthwhile.

Adrienne continued training with subsequent dogs, including one named Argo, who presented significant behavioral challenges. Through working to address these issues, she was introduced to A Sound Beginning, where she trained under Steve Frost. He introduced her to a fear-free approach for managing Argo, and the results were transformative. The success she experienced—and the knowledge she gained—deeply resonated with her. At the time, Adrienne was already teaching puppy classes, and she began incorporating this compassionate, fear-free approach into her own training methods.

Adrienne is Fear Free Certified and has a true passion for working with young dogs during their most formative stages. She understands that early experiences shape a dog’s behavior, confidence, and relationship with the world around them. By providing thoughtful, science-based guidance to clients, Adrienne helps set both dogs and their families up for long-term success.

She believes that the support and education owners receive during puppyhood are pivotal—not just for basic training, but for building trust, preventing behavioral challenges, and fostering a strong, positive bond. Through her compassionate, fear-free approach, Adrienne empowers clients with the tools and confidence they need to raise well-adjusted, happy dogs.

Adrienne is now retired and cherishes spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and six grandchildren, whose ages range from 3 to 19. Her family life is full, joyful, and often delightfully busy, keeping her active and engaged across every stage of childhood. Alongside her family, she also enjoys the companionship of her dog, Gibby, and her fish, who add their own special charm to her home.

When she’s not enjoying time with her grandchildren, Adrienne loves to unwind with a good book or express her creativity through crafts. Whether she’s reading, creating, caring for her pets, or making memories with her family, she embraces this chapter of life with the same warmth, patience, and enthusiasm that she brings to her work with dogs and their people.
