We chose in-home training sessions for our standard poodle puppy, Behati, to ensure we were setting her up for success with the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) exam and beyond. Our goal is for Behati to earn her CGC title and eventually become a therapy dog. At the time, she was also going through her adolescent phase, so we wanted expert guidance on loose-leash walking, greeting other dogs politely, welcoming friendly strangers, and managing new visitors in our home—among many other common challenges puppy parents face.
Kathryn was exceptional. She guided us through each session with patience, warmth, and zero judgment, creating a comfortable and positive learning environment for both Behati and our family. Her insight and hands-on approach in our home were invaluable, as she offered practical, real-time adjustments that made an immediate difference.
