Brandi discovered her passion for dog training while fostering for a local rescue, where she gained hands-on experience working with dogs of all backgrounds. Inspired to deepen her knowledge, she became certified through Animal Behavior College and began offering in-home private training sessions.
She has since taught beginner, intermediate, and advanced obedience classes, as well as Canine Good Citizen (CGC) preparation courses. Through her teaching, Brandi developed a strong interest in canine nutrition and advocating for more thoughtful vaccination practices. She served as an administrator for Protect the Pets, a movement dedicated to making titer testing more accessible and promoting changes to rabies vaccination laws. In this role, she collaborated with a local veterinarian and business to host affordable titer clinics for pet owners.
Continuing her commitment to education, Brandi became a licensed Family Paws Parent Educator. This allows her to support growing families with safety in mind - whether preparing for a new baby or welcoming a dog into the home.
Brandi is especially passionate about private lessons, where she provides compassionate, non-judgmental and individualized support. She specializes in pain-free training methods and believes in building(and at times rebuilding)the dog-to-human bond through clear and effective communication(and of course lots of rewards). She is dedicated to addressing both the emotional and physical needs of each dog while empowering owners with the knowledge and tools they need to succeed in their training journey.
