Adding a new puppy to your household is one of the most exciting opportunities for us as pet owners. During this young formative time, particularly during the period of “critical socialization” (8-16 weeks) your new arrival is learning what to make of the world around them, and what to expect with life with your new family. It truly is a critical time for them to learn what they need to develop into healthy adolescents and adults, and a precious time/opportunity that we don’t get back. Our highly experienced staff have raised numerous individual puppies as well as countless litters and are eager to assist you in helping with the often-overwhelming task of “where to start” in raising your new family member and starting off on a sound beginning towards their future!
The training package includes:
A 30-minute phone consultation to enable immediate trainer involvement until an in-home session can be scheduled.
Four, 1-hour in-home training sessions with the whole family, focusing on building an understanding on how to implement contemporary scientific concepts of animal training and behavior modification to help proactively meet your training goals, and prevent problematic behaviors and build a more trusting bond with your pet.
E-mail follow-up support / guidelines on the training taught.
Unlimited access to supplied support materials.
Unlimited access to your trainer via phone/email for up to one month after the completed session.
If additional in-home support is needed, the follow-up visits are discounted.

Travel Fees: We service the greater Chicagoland area. Travel fees MAY apply when the distance is greater than 25 miles from Winfield, Il. Contact us to check on travel fees, IF applicable.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you cancel day-of, or are not present when our trainer arrives, your session will be considered completed and an additional fee of $75 will be required to re-schedule the missed session (plus any additional travel charges that were quoted with your original order).
If you wish to cancel your order, a full refund, less a $20 processing fee, will be issued as long as we receive your cancel notice no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled session.
No refunds will be available after completion of your first in-home session. We at A Sound Beginning Chicago strive for a quality customer experience, and simply ask that you reach out to us with any concerns so that we may do our best to rectify the situation, in any way that we can.
