Shannon Patton

Shannon brings nearly 12 years of experience in veterinary medicine to her work as a trainer, offering a strong foundation in behavior, body language, and fear-free handling. She is a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA) with hands-on rehabilitation experience, a Fear Free Certified Professional (FFCP), and a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP).

Shannon has a special interest in giving dogs a voice within the training process and strengthening the human–animal bond through clear communication and positive reinforcement. She is particularly passionate about cooperative care and helping pets feel safe and empowered during veterinary and handling experiences. She also loves guiding pet parents in understanding how to set their pets up for success through thoughtful management, enrichment, and practical training strategies. Her approach prioritizes emotional safety, trust, and sustainable skill-building for both pets and their families.

Outside of training, Shannon enjoys spending time with her dogs, Noah and Lumen, exploring new adventure spots, reading, caring for houseplants, and being with her family.
